El Palo is famous for its local festivals that take place during the year. For example the cultural week of the 25th of June, in which they celebrate the night of San Juan. In the same week also is celebrated the soccersport by playing soccer for 48 hours.
In the week of the 16th of July there will be the celebration of "La Virgen del Carmen" which is a very important happening for this earlier fishing village.
Furthermore you can enjoy the yearly Flamenco-festival.
